Privacy Policy

Last updated: 27 July 2026

Loop is designed to work entirely on your device. We take the simplest possible approach to privacy: we don't collect your data.

What we collect

Nothing. Your projects, counters, yarn stash, patterns, photos and notes are stored only in Loop's private storage on your device. They are never uploaded to us and we have no servers that receive them.

Photos and files

When you add a photo or import a pattern file, Loop copies it into the app's private storage so it stays available offline. These files never leave your device unless you choose to share them yourself.

Purchases

If you subscribe to Loop Plus, the purchase is handled by Apple and by our payments provider, RevenueCat, to verify your subscription status. To do this, RevenueCat processes your purchase history and an anonymous device identifier under its own privacy policy. Apple and RevenueCat process purchase information under their own terms:

We receive only a non-identifying subscription status ("active" or not). We do not receive your name, email or payment details.

Children

Loop is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version at this URL.
